Applicability to Non Indians, Non Hindus in India

Unfortunately, today, many in this world are deprived of the benefits of the Vishesha Dharma. People from outside India are not aware of the effect of Karma and the purpose of human life. They are not able to map themselves to one of the Varna. Without knowing Varna following Ashramas becomes difficult. Their social system is not suitable for following many of Vishesha Dharmas. Still, with the help of a Guru, they may be able to idenfity some of the Vishesha Dharmas ordained for them.
Even in India, many of the people have deviated from the family traditions and social traditions. Some of them have gone too far and today are unable to identify their Vishesha Dharma. But the remaining four Varnas - are better positioned to get benefits from Vishesha Dharma in their progress towards realization. [18]

Hindus have taken great precautions to remember their antecedents in order to get benefits from the Vishesha Dharma. Brahmanas especially remember their lineage very precisely. Those who forget - for whatever reasons - will have to depend only on Samanya Dharma. Those who take pains to preserve it, will be rewarded with Vishesha Dharma along with the Samanya Dharma.
